So, I get a call asking if I can babysit my little cousins on New Years Eve. I really don't mind doing it, and I didn't have anything better to do than work on art stuff, so I accepted. I get along fine with these cousins, and they really like me too, so we all have a good ol' time together~

The parents said that as long as they obeyed and weren't too energetic or anything like that, they could stay up to watch the ball drop..for the first few hours after dinner we play in the play room, with me doing double duty -- helping the oldest (7-boy) play his Diamond game and chasing, tickling, searching for, etc the two younger ones (5 and 4 -girls).

Around 10:30 I had them clean up the play room then we went downstairs and did other stuff. I had mini how-to-draw lessons with the oldest and youngest (who are quite good artists for their age)...I taught them simple ways to draw Bulbasaur, Absol (this one was difficult to simplify), and Umbreon (the 4-year-old made a better one than the 7-year-old, I think).

I got them ready for bed at 11:30 and I taught them how do draw Charmander...even I messed up big time with that one!

We watched the ball drop (which gets less exciting every year I stay up to do so.. ) then I sent them to bed. The fireworks kept the 5-year-old up for a while, but finally she settled down.
I read until the parents came home at 1:30am....at which time I promptly went to bed.



Oh, yeah! I almost forgot!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Okay! So you might've heard that something was up with my tablet and it wouldn't work on my new laptop (which isn't as new anymore ). I blamed the computer 'cause it's a Vista and seemingly nothing is compatable with that
Anyways, I went onto the Wacom website and downloaded something for Vista users and voila! it works!
